Victoria Rodriguez
January 2, 1944 - February 15, 2017Victoria “Vicky” Rodriguez passed away in her home in San Lorenzo, CA, on February 15, 2017. After being diagnosed in January, she died of sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, a degenerative brain disease that affects only one in one million people per year. She was 73.
Vicky was born on January 2, 1944, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to her parents Raul and Clemencia Robles. She emigrated to the United States in 1961 where she attended high school in San Francisco. While living in San Francisco, she met the love of her life Luis “Omar” Rodriguez at a dance at Club Fugazi. They were married in 1965 and moved to their first home in San Lorenzo in 1968. She became a U.S. citizen in 1977.
Vicky entered the real estate profession in 1979 and achieved a long and very successful career as one of the top real estate brokers in the San Francisco East Bay Area.
