Violenta Wade
January 17, 1910 - August 1, 2017At 107 years old, Violenta (Vi) Wade passed away on August 1st at San Leandro Hospital. She was born and raised in San Lorenzo and she, along with her brother Ignatius (Nish) Rodrigues, were San Lorenzo Historians. She was known for her great memory, her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She lived in the same house all her life, which was moved from Quigley Road, San Lorenzo, to Ashland Avenue, San Lorenzo in 1946.

March 31, 1924 - November 27, 2016Our mother was an amazing person. She brought joy and laughter to every occasion. Everyone loved her giggle, accompanied with a special twinkle in her eye. Her boundless energy and gift of gab certainly kept everyone on their toes.
