September 2, 1944 - July 12, 2016Phuong Thao H. Nguyen passed away in San Leandro, California on July 12, 2016. She was born in Vietnam on September 2, 1944. Phuong Thao was a devoted member of three Buddhist temples; Chua Pho Tu, in Hayward, Chua Giac Minh, in East Palo Alto, and An Ton Meditation Center in San Jose. She loved to volunteer for these temples. She was a seamstress for 56 years and was married to her husband, Tien V. Nguyen for 53 years.
