Wilma “Billie” Joy Lindberg entered peacefully into rest in San Leandro, California on September 23, 2019. She was 89 years old.

Born March 23, 1930 in Pickford, Michigan to parents Ellen and James Fountain, Wilma loved reading, watching the A’s, playing cards, and gambling in Vegas with her sister. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Robert Lindberg; children Kitty, John and Kelly; grandchildren Lisa, Julia, Samantha and Katelynn; and sibling Jean Wyllie. She was preceded in death by her son Robert and siblings Margaret Bosley, Orma Spillane, Raymond Fountain, Ruby Manniko, Glenda Penwitt, and Riva Fountain.

A Memorial Service for Wilma will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA 94580. Wilma will be laid to rest at Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward, California.
