William Edward Sullivan, (Bill), passed away at age 88, on 7/9/2020 at home in San Leandro, CA after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born 5/10/1932  to Flurry Sullivan and Margaret Sullivan (Mountain) in Oakland, CA;  both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his brother John (Jack) Sullivan. 

Bill leaves behind his loving family, wife, Joyce to whom he was married for 65 years, daughter Terri Hoffman (Eric), son Jack Sullivan (Vicki), granddaughter Sarah Soptic (Jeff), great grandson Brady Soptic and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was employed by PG&E as a machinist for 43 years and lived in the Bay Area his whole life. He attended Emery High in Emeryville, CA  where he was a star, left handed pitcher. After high school he was drafted professionally by the San Francisco Seals and played baseball for 3 years. 

Bill was a devoted family man and his family meant everything to him.  He loved all kinds of sports and enjoyed gardening.
