William (Bill) Alfred Pryor passed away at home in San Lorenzo, California on January 28, 2019. He was 83 years old. He was born on July 12, 1935 in Illinois to parents Hallie and Eugene Pryor.

William worked as a heavy equipment operator with Operating Engineers Local 3 for 30 years, after graduating with the first graduating class of 1954 from San Lorenzo High School. He also attended Santa Rosa Junior College. Before working as a heavy equipment operator he worked as a postal worker at the San Lorenzo Post Office, and also spent some time with Hunts Cannery. He enjoyed membership in the Richmond Hunting Club and making custom fishing poles in his spare time. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking in the outdoors, cars, and wine making.

William is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marlyn Pryor; children John and Linda, Ronald and Danette, and Juli; grandchildren Rose, Christina, Ali, Breäna, and Jeneé; great grandchildren Elias, Adelaide, Everly, and Aleana; and sister Esther Pryor.
