Victor R. Valenzuela

October 5, 1988 - June 9, 2023

Life Legacy

Victor Samuel Valenzuela Rodriguez entered peacefully into rest in Castro Valley, California on June 9, 2023. Victor was a proud Oakland native whom loved to travel and immerse himself into all cultures. He leaves his Bengal furr babies, Penny, Domingo and Lucky(newborn) behind. He was so proud of Penny for becoming a mom and enjoyed watching her nurture her only surviving kitten. He often redirected her to breast feeding Lucky to ensure he’d thrive & he has. Today, Penny & Domingo happily enjoy all of the excitement a newborn kitten brings.

Born October 5, 1988 in California to parents Etelia Rodriguez and Bernardo Valenzuela, Victor was 34 years young when he left us to join all his loved ones whom passed before him, including his father Bernardo who is also deeply missed. Victor had the pleasure of growing up with his immediate siblings, Erick B. Valenzuela, Eduardo E. Valenzuela and younger sister Ruth E. Barriga; he enjoyed being a loving uncle to their collective children, Aiden, Savannah, Antonio, Avelina, Angelo, Maximiliano, Theodore and soon to join the family Velexia (June ‘23). Victor also has two extended siblings Carlos & Ernesto Rodriguez whom he had the privilege of meeting and making memories with. Aside from his loving blood relatives, Victor, created many relationships with non blood related friends whom became his family through many shared interest, experiences, laughs and heartfelt invigorating moments. Victor was very loved by his family, friends and community.

From a young age, Victor was fascinated with animals and desired to be a Veterinarian; therefore, attained as many animals as possible in effort of learning about them and their habitats. As he grew, he then developed a strong interest in fashion & luxury while attending Skyline High School and proudly earned a degree from FIDM, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, as an adult. He then moved to LA where he served as a wardrobe stylist to celebrities and worked in many high end retail stores.

Aside from work, Victor would enjoy himself into the continuing night life activities where he often gathered with more friends and family to enjoy a good time; moments that were deeply cherished by him and those who joined him in making them.

Vivacious flamboyant Victor will be deeply missed by us all.
