Vernona James entered peacefully into rest in San Leandro, California on January 3, 2023. She was 82 years old.

Born May 11, 1940 in Oklahoma to parents Cornelius and Vernon Trice, Vernona worked as a senior lab technician for over 30 years. She is survived by many loving family members and friends and will be deeply missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom’s Mortuary.
