Verna Mae Brown entered peacefully into rest at home in Oakland, California on March 13, 2024. She was 81 years old.

Born May 14, 1942 in Louisiana to parents Lizzie and Luther Amos, Sr., Verna worked as a computer operator for the United States military for 55 years. She is survived by many loving family members and friends and will be deeply missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary.
