Timothy Paul Engelman passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 peacefully at home with his wife of 36 years, Kathleen Elaine Engelman.Tim and Kathy were married on January 27, 1986 and have been by each other's side ever since.
Tim was born September 19,1944 in Albany, California, to Philip and Hulda Engelman. In his early years he lived, worked and was educated in Fresno where he and his family enjoyed membership in the Edison Social Club. Tim (nicknamed Tailpipe) proudly served in the US Navy all over the world.This was one of his greatest accomplishments and he always had stories to tell. He retired as an Aviation Machinist’s Mate First Class in 1982.
Tim had an infectious laugh and mischievous spirit with a no nonsense attitude. He had a passion for travel, the 49ers, the Giants, and life. His generous heart and immense love for the people in his life will be greatly missed. He leaves behind a Legacy of honor, humor and friendship.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Michael and Robert, and sister Patti. Niece Felicia, nephew Jon Eric, and great nephew Ty Rex. He is survived by his wife Kathy of San Leandro, CA. His children from a previous marriage, Daughter Tiffany Ann and Son Timothy Philip; Grandchildren Jonathon, James and Allison; Great-grandchildren Hailey Renee, and Jaxson Timothy; Cousins William, Rodney (Ruth), and Kenny; Nephews Michael (Connie), Vincent, and Robert; Nieces Michelle (Chris),Lisa, Jane, and Julie.
A memorial with full military honors will be held Monday, September 19 at 2:15pm
