Sylvia Sonja Rosenthal entered peacefully into rest at Eden Hospital in Castro Valley, California on November 13, 2020. She was 85 years old.

Born August 26, 1935 in Colorado to parents Freda and George Cohen, Sylvia worked for many years handling the business end of the family upholstery business, Coast Seating, along with her husband Marvin Rosenthal. She loved talking with all the customers who came into the shop, and all people. She was a life-long animal lover, and loved her pets – cats, dogs, birds, and even feeding the feral cats in her neighborhood.

Sylvia is survived by her children Michael Rosenthal and Debbie Kersting Rosenthal, and many other loving family members and friends. She will be greatly missed.
