Steven Craig Burgers entered peacefully into rest on April 15, 2019 in Oakland, California. He was 59 years old.  

Born October 15, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to parents Patricia and John Burgers, Steven was a graduate of Murray High School in Utah. He worked as a building engineer for Enovity for four years, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ward 1, Oakland. He enjoyed building cars and tinkering around the house.

Steven is survived by his wife of 12 years, Cecilia Rojas; children Sherry, Steven, Michael, Lisa, and stepdaughter Alexa; six grandchildren; mother Patricia Paulson; siblings John, Todd, Suzi and David; many nieces and nephews; a loving extended family; and many cherished friends.

Visitation for Steven will be held on Wednesday, April 24 from 10 AM – 11 AM, at the Oakland Latter Day Saints Temple, 4770 Lincoln Ave., Oakland, CA 94602, with Services to follow at 11 AM. Steven will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, CA.
