Shirley Sandoval entered peacefully into rest on October 11, 2016. She was 62 years old.
Born in San Francisco on April 11, 1954 to Ramona and Leo Chavez, Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful and caring sister, auntie daughter and most of all, a mother. Shirley was a very loving person, always putting her family first. She was self-employed, hardworking and an independent woman, who was a huge motivation and inspiration to us all and will be deeply missed. A graduate of Mission High School in San Francisco class of 1972. Shirley loved playing Poker, camping, walking Chico, watching the Giants games and singing the oldies.
She is survived by her dearly beloved husband of 41 years, Erasmo Sandoval. Children Ramona, Alejandro and Leonnia; grandchildren, Giovanni, Nevaeh, Natalia and Zoe; parents, Ramona and Leo Chavez, siblings, Molly, Sis, Bill and Lenny and many loving extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 9:00am – 11:00am on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. Funeral services begin at 11:00am.
