With heavy hearts, we share the news of Shashil Narayan’s passing on October 20, 2024. Born on December 26, 1965, in Paddington Green, London, England, Shashil lived a life full of laughter, love, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.Shashil had an extraordinary gift for brightening the lives of those around her. Whether it was cheering on her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, or taking long, music-filled drives, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Her love for music knew no bounds, from Bon Jovi and Eminem to Pink, Rihanna, Chaka Khan, and Prince—her playlist was as diverse as her vibrant spirit. The daily calls from her nieces, Nicole and Angelia, were a source of constant joy for Shashil, moments she truly cherished. Those conversations filled her heart with love and connection. Equally important was her long time friendship with Marta, whose presence brought Shashil comfort and countless cherished memories. Their bonds were unshakable, a testament to the deep and lasting relationships Shashil nurtured throughout her life.

Shashil’s favorite color, purple, was a reflection of her bold and lively personality, and her passion for life extended into her love for General Hospital, Family Feud, and watching Indian shows with her mother. At the heart of everything, Shashil’s love for her family was her guiding light. Her deep connection with her loved ones brought warmth and strength to everyone she met. Shashil leaves behind her devoted mother, Sadhana Wati, her sister Sushma Narayan, and her brothers Edward Narayan and Andrew Narayan. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her nephews Wesley, Justin, and JR, and her nieces Nicole, Heather, and Angelia. She also leaves behind great nephews and great nieces, Mason, Brayden, Zaya, along with Jesse, Jett, Adrian, Anneliese, Aiden, Anthony, and Ashton. Shashil’s radiant spirit, love for music, and dedication to family will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain in our hearts forever.

May Shashil rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the music and love she cherished so dearly.
