Russell “Moose” Lee Buchter passed away in Palo Alto, CA on June 27, 2018 at the age of 58. He was born March 9, 1960 in Oakland, CA to parents John W. and Barbara J. Buchter. 

Russell worked as a Shop Steward for Simpson Strongtie for 14 years. He attended Arroyo High School and Heald’s Business College. Russell honorably served in the US Air Force for 4 years.

Russell is survived by his daughter, Amy Buchter, and siblings Bonnie M. Seeley and John S. (Dixie) Buchter. He will be remembered as an extremely artistic man, who could draw and build anything. He loved to cook and experiment with food. He was “just a nice guy who would do anything for anyone,” and was deeply devoted to his family. He is missed by everyone who knew him.

Services for Russell will be held July 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA, 95620.
