Rosa Torrico passed away unexpectedly in her Hayward home on April 13, 2019. She was 96 years old.

Born on October 30, 1922 in Peru to parents Rosa Montagnes and Jose Torrico, Rosa loved and was beloved by her family. She was a lifelong homemaker, and enjoyed keeping a clean house and cooking for all. She also enjoyed volunteering in the pediatrics ward for children with disabilities.

Rosa was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Victor Martinez; daughter Rosa Martinez; and her three younger siblings. She is survived by her daughters Maria Martinez (Hayward, CA) and Miriam Martinez (Peru); 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many loving extended family and cherished friends. She will be greatly missed.
