Roneel Kashyap was born in Sigatoka, Fiji, on November 3, 1983, to Vinod and Premilla Kashyap.  He immigrated to the USA as a teenager and settled with his family in Hayward, California.  He attended Mount Eden High School.   He met Diana Lignan in 2011 and together they raised two beautiful girls - Aiesha and Amirah. 

He was an avid sports fan, pledging his allegiance to the San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Sharks, and Manchester United. 

He embraced all cultures and even became fluent in Spanish. He lit up the room with his smile and constant jokes;  his love language was annoying people.  He loved listening to reggae and reggaeton.  Roneel was kind hearted, approachable, and generous, especially with his time.  No matter how tired he was, he prioritized family and family functions.

Roneel elected to be an organ donor, and he saved the lives of several people.  He is truly our hero and he will live on through the recipients.

He is survived by his grandmother Subadra Kashyap, parents, Vinod & Premilla,  sisters Pritika & Ashna, brother-in-law Jonathan, niece Khloe, nephew Jonathan Jr, wife Diana, and the light of his life - daughters Aiesha and Amirah.
