Ronald M. Peterson passed away in San Leandro, California on May 20, 2019, at the age of 68. He was born September 25, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Inez and Howard Peterson. 

After graduating from Marina High School and attending Chabot and Laney Colleges, Ronald opened his own company, Florence Metal Products, which he ran for 50 years. He loved his work, but his passion was showing and riding horses. 

Ronald is survived by his wife of 41 years, Amy Peterson, and son Donald Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard (1980) and Inez (2000).

Visitation for Ronald will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA, with a Vigil to be held at 7:00 PM. Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at St. Felicitas Catholic Church, 1662 Manor Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94579. Following services, Ronald will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544
