Mr. Roland Charles Ashby was born to Mr. & Mrs. Roland Ashby on October 22, 1931 in Kentucky.

He was married to the late Merian Ashby (nee Walker) and worked for Safeway as a Senior Buyer for 29 years. Prior to his career, he faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force where he rose to the rank of Master Sergeant.

Roland departed this life on December 16, 2017 in Fremont, CA.

Master Sergeant Roland Charles Ashby will be laid to rest with full military honors on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, The address is 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620.
