Robin Lynne Griffin passed away quietly and peacefully in her sleep on the afternoon of July 18, 2021 in San Leandro, California at the age of 64.
At the time of her birth, March 19, 1957, Robin and her twin brother Robert, were the largest set of twins on record at Brookside Hospital in San Pablo, California. Robin and her siblings spent their childhoods in the San Francisco East Bay; primarily Richmond, San Leandro and Castro Valley. Robin was a longtime resident at Cherry Blossom Residential Care in Hayward having moved there in 1986. She loved drawing, cartoons, Spiderman, Godzilla and listening to jazz music.
Robin is preceded in death by her father Robert Leroy Griffin Sr. and her mother Barbara Marlene Deibner. She is survived by her brothers Steve Griffin (Lorraine Perrotta) of Los Angeles, Michael Griffin of Burney, Robert Leroy Griffin Jr. of Fresno, Thomas Lamar Pomeroy Sr. of Ripon and Charles Wygal of San Bernardino along with many nieces, nephews and cousins, her extended family and friends at Cherry Blossom Residential Care and the devoted staff at the Regional Center of the East Bay. Robin was a pure and innocent soul loved by all.
