Reyes “Rae” Villarreal entered peacefully into rest in San Leandro, California on August 12, 2020. She was 83 years old.

Born June 21, 1937 in Lajara, Texas to parents Rita and Felipe Villanueva, Reyes graduated from Edinburgh High School in Texas. She owned her own restaurant in the 1960s, and went on to work as a homemaker for the rest of her life. She loved shopping and spending time with her family.

Reyes is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Eleazar Villarreal; children Gloria, Jose, Mario and Rita; 22 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, with another on the way; siblings Tina, Mateo, and Polito; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Delfina, and siblings Allie and Julio. Reyes will be greatly missed.
