Renato “Rey” “Tato” Lerot entered eternal rest at his residence on May 25, 2026, at the age of 74.

Renato was born on May 21, 1952, in Taguig, Philippines, to his proud parents, Ambrosio S. Lerot and Irene V. Cipriano. He worked as an Assembly Worker for Steinway & Sons for five years. Renato attended college and enjoyed spending his time working on puzzles and woodworking projects.

He is survived by his children, Randolph B. Lerot, Reynard C. Lerot, and Katherine-Hazel B. Lerot; his grandchildren, Ivanka-Taylor A. Lerot and Mason Alexander L. Acevedo; and his siblings, Ophelia Lerot and Benedicto Lerot.

Renato was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Teresita Batan Lerot (2014); his parents, Ambrosio S. Lerot and Irene V. Cipriano; and his siblings, Estelita Lerot, Vedasto Lerot, and Ruperto Lerot.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, June 8, 2026, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 756 Mission Street, San Francisco, California 94103. Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m.

Following the services, Renato will be laid to rest in the Philippines.
