Petronila Flores died tragically when struck by a car in San Lorezno on February 14, 2017. She was 75 years old.
Petronila was born in Apurimac, Peru to Roberto & Manuela (Alarcon) Flores on August 1, 1941. She was a devoted homemaker and mother who took great pride in raising her family. Petronila was dedicated to her faith. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Johns’ Catholic Church and willingly donated her time and talents to the church. Her kind and thoughtful ways will be deeply missed.
Petronila is survived by her beloved children, Jose, Segundo, Avnher and Rosa Escobedo; siblings, Ignacio Flores, Ciro Ortiz, Martha Segura, Marcelino Flores and Felicita Flores; grandchildren, Anthony, Victor, Ronald, Khailey, Angelica, Jefferson, Joseph, Johana and Joshua; great grandson, Noah; many loving extended family and cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Jorge in 1979 and Wilder in 2001 and her brother, Braulio Flores in 2014.
Visitation for Petronila will be 2 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. The vigil service begins at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
