Patricia “Pat” Mattison Greene a longtime resident of San Leandro, CA., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Monterey, CA, on March 13, 2018. She was 94 years old.

Pat was born in Rumford, Maine on June 17, 1923 to Forest and Grace Mattison. Her hobbies included golf, bowling, carpentry, and reading. Pat attended Stevens High School, in Rumford Maine, and Wesbrook Junior College in Portland, Maine. She served her country in the Coast Guard during World War II for 3 years. She worked as a secretary, ski instructor, a home-maker, and enjoyed spending her time with the St. Felicitas Women’s Club, and a devoted member of St. Felicitas Catholic Church Parish, for 54 years.

In 1955, she married Stephen J. Greene, who preceded her in death in 1988. Pat is survived by her children Eileen (David) Bezouska, Patrick (Coleen) Greene, and daughter-in-law Karen Greene, grandchildren Phillip Bezouska, Connor and Kristen Greene and Krystle Smith; brother James (Linda) Mattison and many loving extended family and cherished friends. She was predeceased by her son Stephen Jr. in 2015.

Funeral Liturgy will be on Monday, March 19, 2018 beginning at 11:00Am at St. Felicitas Catholic Church 1662 Manor Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94579.

Private burial services will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Society of St. Vincent dePaul of Alameda County.
