Parmodh Kumar Garg (1948 – 2025)
With deep love and heavy hearts, the family of Parmodh Kumar Garg, 77, of Bassi Balo, Punjab, India, and longtime resident of California, announces his peaceful passing on November 1, 2025.
Parmodh lived a life defined by hard work, perseverance, and devotion to his family. He proudly served in the Indian Army, worked as a bus conductor, and later helped run the family gas station in Oregon after moving to the United States. After several years in Oregon, the family settled in California in 2013, where he continued to support and guide his loved ones.
Through his determination and dedication, Parmodh built two homes, helped his children establish their lives, and ensured his grandchildren received quality education. One of his greatest joys was seeing his granddaughter get married, and though he did not have the chance to meet her child, his love and blessings will continue to embrace generations to come.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Usha Garg, and his loving children: Krishan, Shiv, and Kanchan. His legacy continues through his grandchildren and great-grandchild, who will forever cherish his strength, kindness, and the love he poured into his family.
Parmodh’s life was a true reflection of selflessness, hard work, and love. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
