Oscar Noe Marin passed away unexpectedly at his Hayward home on May 18, 2019.  He was 60 years old.

Born in San Salvador,El Salvador on November 2, 1958, “Spoon” as he was affectionately called, was one of 19 children blessed to Jose &  Maria Dolores Marin.  He moved to the Bay Area, making his home in Hayward.  Oscar met and married his beloved wife, Lori and together they would share 32 years and raise 5 children.  He enjoyed a successful career as a truck driver with Costco, spanning over 40 years. Oscar was an avid sports fan who enjoyed soccer, football, dancing and watching games with his sons. He had a kind heart and wonderful sense of humor.  Oscar will be deeply by missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Lori; their devoted children, Oscar Jr., Anthony, Sarra, Christian and Lena; siblings, Juan Angel, Reina, Estela, Jose Maria, Carlos, Sara, Thomas, Lucy, Gregorio, Cruzita, Rigoberto, Marcos, Samuel, Noris, Juan, Jenny, Marta and Joana; granddaughter, Julissa and many loving extended family and cherished friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for funeral services at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo.  Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm.
