Olga Maria Galindo passed away at her childhood home on May 11, 2024, following a valiant battle with colon cancer. She was 51 years old. Born on April 29, 1973, Olga graduated from San Leandro High School. She worked at the post office as a mail carrier in Pleasanton along with Joann Fabrics where her love of arts and crafts was able to flourish. She enjoyed fashion, attending Portuguese functions, and spending time with her family and pets.

Olga is survived by her children Lorenzo and Alexis Galindo; parents Luciano and Alice Neves; sister Lina Jimenez (Miguel Jimenez) and brother Alvaro Neves (Colleen Neves); godchildren Alfredo Rodriguez, Briana Jimenez, and Marciano Neves; her nephews, nieces, and extended family.

Visitation will be from 2pm to 7pm on Tuesday May 28th at Grissom’s Chapel and Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. The rosary will begin at 6pm. Mass will be at 10am on Wednesday May 29th at St Leander’s Catholic Church, 550 W. Estudillo Ave., San Leandro. Burial will follow at Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Hayward. “So its true, when all is said and done, grief is the price we pay for love.”
