Norman Lee Chadwick, known to family and friends as "Stormin Norman," entered peacefully into rest at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek, California on January 30, 2020. He was 74 years old.

Born November 13, 1945 in Torrance, California to parents Elene and Oriville Chadwick, Norman graduated from Brethren High School in Southern California, and went on to receive a degree from Heald College. Following graduation Norman went back to teach at Heald, and worked as a safety engineer for TÜV Rheinland for 29 years. He loved boating, Nascar, tinkering with electronics, riding motorcycles (in his younger years), and being with family and friends. 

Norman is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty; stepchildren Debby, Cary and Sherry; granddaughter Brittney; brother Roger, his beloved puppup Wiley; and many loving extended family members and cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his son Marc. 

Visitation for Norman will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 7421 Amarillo Rd, Dublin, CA, with services to begin at 11:00 AM. Following services, Norman will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery, 4529 Howe St, Oakland, CA.
