Monroe Francis Fowler “Papa”, passed away on August 24, 2016 Hayward, California. He was born on October 20, 1949 in Lawrence, Kansas, to parents; Archie and Beatrice Fowler. He attended Brookfield, Madison and Castlemont. Papa was a U.P.S. Parcel handler for 16 years. Some of his hobbies included sports, collecting hats and enjoying time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Fowler of 38 years and his 3 daughters; Tiana Byrd, Kearra Mabon and Alisa Valdez. Grandchildren; Carmen Byrd and Aniyah Valdez. Siblings; Audrey, Thelma, Lloyd, Jerri, Brian and Kim.

A memorial service has been scheduled for Friday September 9, 2016 at 1:00pm at Grissom’s Chapel and Mortuary 267 E. Lewelling Blvd. San Lorenzo, Ca. 94580
