Monique Nakiesha Lewis, called Bo-Bo, Mo-Mo, or Nique-Nique by her friends and family, passed away November 10, 2018 at the age of 36. She was born March 27, 1982 in Berkeley, CA to parents Lois Taylor and Monroe Lewis.

Monique had her food handler’s license, receiving a certification of completion from an Oakland program, and worked as a chef for 4 years.

Monique is survived by her children, Errice Lewis, Seven Lewis, and Nalij McBride; parents Lois Taylor and Monroe Lewis; and siblings Christina Jefferson and Ebone Jefferson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary.
