Michael P. McGraw (Cincy Mike) of Hayward, CA, passed away June 24, 2018 peacefully and surrounded by love after being in a serious motorcycle accident two days prior.

Born in Maryland, his family moved out to California when he was a child. His dad joined the newspaper where Mike followed in his footsteps until retirement.

Mike had a huge personality with a very generous heart and helpful spirit. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, a Harley Davidson aficionado, and dedicated Alcoholics Anonymous member (recently celebrating 28 years sober).

He is preceded in death by his parents Keith McGraw and Barbara McGraw-Sotello (Nix), brother Mark McGraw, and nephew Joseph McGraw. He is survived by his brother Matthew McGraw of Tucson, AZ., (Michelle, Katherine, Brenna, & Ryan); his sister Maureen McGraw-Grebe & Brother in Law Brett Grebe of Gilbert, AZ., (Sean, Sunnie, Holly, Cole, & Keegan); life partner Rhonda McConohy-McGraw and daughter Danielle McConohy of Dublin, CA.

Mike was close to so many people and cherished each and every one of those relationships. He will certainly be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 14th from 1:00-3:00 at Faith Lutheran Church, 20080 Redwood Rd, Castro Valley, CA 94546.
