Melvin Leonard Carriere entered peacefully into rest in San Ramon, California on November 6, 2019. He was 76 years old. 

Born October 31, 1943 in California to parents Frances and Leonard Carriere, Melvin worked for over 28 years as a firefighter. He is survived by his wife Paulette and his two sons.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary.
