Melissa Ann Ortega passed away on August 10, 2016 in San Leandro, California. She was born on October 17, 1980 in San Leandro,California. She is survived by her parents; Linda(Alan) Wilson and Paul(Nancy)Ortega and her siblings; Paul Ortega lll, John Suarez and Melissa Rogers. She leaves behind her fiancé;Jarrod Cason, and sons; Jarrod Jr., Jordan, Marlon Diaz, Diana Cason and family. Her grandmothers; Patricia McDuffie-Gay, Mary Ortega and Anita Wilson. She had many aunts, uncles and cousins from the McDuffies, Ortegas and Wilson families. Soon after she graduated from San Lorenzo High she pursued a career in purchasing. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service has been scheduled for, Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1:00pm at Grissom's Chapel and Mortuary 267 E. Lewelling Blvd. San Lorenzo, Ca. 94580
