Matthew Ray Dean was born on October 4, 1983 in Hayward to parents Lanie and Angelo. He passed away on August 27, 2018 in San Ramon at the age of 34.

Matthew, also known as Matt, is survived by his mother Lanie, and siblings Marcus and Rachel. He is preceded in death by his father Angelo. Matt is also survived by his girlfriend of four and a half years Lisa Keys who is expecting their child, Matthew Ray Thomas Dean, February of 2019.

Throughout his life, Matt attended Hayward High School, Clark Atlanta University, Chabot College, and finally Tabor College where he earned his B.A. in Communications. While at Tabor, Matt played football on scholarship. He was also part of their track team.

Aside from his family and friends, some of the joys of Matt’s life included: playing Madden with his brother, working out, snowboarding, riding his motorcycle, travelling, disc jockeying, watching formula 1 racing, and his job as a salesman for an R&B company.
