Pat, 82, departed this earth on Sunday, September 16th.  She was born and raised in Oxnard, CA until she met and married her husband and started their family.  In 1961 the family moved to Hayward where they settled down to raise 5 wonderful children and where she eventually became a deep part of their 5 grandchildren’s lives.  Married for 61 years, Pat leaves behind her loving husband Don, her wonderful brother Martin, and sister Judy. While raising 5 kids, Pat worked part-time at JC Penny’s for over 25 years, just to keep her sanity. Pat touched everyone that came into contact with her. She was a giving person, one that always had time for you. We will miss her smile and her laughs.   
 
The family would like to especially thank everyone at the Fremont Kaiser hospital that cared for Pat during her final days.  Everyone was very warm and went over the top ensuring that she was comfortable and well cared for.   
 
Mom’s wishes were not for a memorial but for a celebration of her life. The family will be arranging a celebration and will be posting information soon. Her ashes will be spread in places that she enjoyed the most.
