Mary A. Matamoros entered peacefully into rest in Antioch, California on February 21, 2020. She was 91 years old.

Born August 5, 1928 in Madera, California to parents Leobarda and Cristin Avila, Mary worked as a caretaker for over 30 years. She is survived by many loving family members and friends. She will be greatly missed. 

Visitation for Mary will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at St. Peter Martyr Church, 140 Black Diamond St., Pittsburg, CA, with Mass to begin at 10:00 AM. Mary will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch, CA.
