Mary Annette Godfrey entered peacefully into rest in Oakland, California on February 21, 2023. She was 78 years old.

Born May 20, 1944 in South Carolina to parents Julia and Samuel Godfrey, Mary worked as a caregiver for over 40 years. She is survived by many loving family members and friends and will be deeply missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary.
