Marie Jane Black entered peacefully into rest at home in Fremont, California on August 5, 2021. She was 97 years old.

Born April 9, 1924 in Minnesota to parents Gladys and Ralph Ellison, Marie worked in healthcare. She is survived by many loving family members and friends and will be deeply missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary.
