Maria Idalia Carothers entered peacefully into rest on September 8, 2019, at the age of 95. She was born January 25, 1924 in New Mexico to parents Eutimia Lovato and Reyes Gurule. She is survived by her children David, Brian and Gaylynn. 

Maria will be laid to rest with her late husband at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary.
