Maria Eugenia Padilla entered peacefully into rest at home in Oakland, California on October 23, 2020. She was 67 years old.

Born July 18, 1953 in Mexico to parents Maria Tostado and J. Felix Padilla, Maria worked as a homemaker, and was a great wife and wonderful grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Eusebio Padilla; children Luis Enrique, Maria Ramona, Jesus Eusebio, Laura Eugenia, Graciela, and Juan Francisco; grandchildren Jasmine, Brianna, Liam, Alexander, Itzel, Alegra, Alyssa, Alyana, Alejandra, Anahi, Amelia, Armando, and Avaya; siblings Marta, Alicia and David; father J. Felix Padilla; and many other loving family members and friends. She will be greatly missed.
