Maria “Santi” Del Carmen Fernandez, of Hayward entered peacefully into rest on August 19, 2019. She was 65 years old.

Born in Mexico City on November 6, 1953 to parents, Maria De La Luz and Gevaro Molina, Maria attended cosmetology school, following which she was married to the love of her life, Miguel Angel Fernandez. Raising their 3 children and a being homemaker became her life’s dedication to her family.

Maria is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Miguel Angel Fernandez; children, Miguel A. Fernandez Jr., Alejandro L. Fernandez and Jenny L. Fernandez; grandchildren, Ariana L. Fernandez, Emiliano L. Medina and Santiago M. Medina; siblings, Jorge, Gevaro, Juan, Octavio, Leticia, Lucero and Alejandro Molina; parents, Maria De La Luz and Gevaro Molina.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Grissom’s Chapel and Mortuary 267 E. Lewelling Blvd. San Lorenzo, CA 94580. A chapel service will be on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward.
