Maggie Helen Parker was born on November 7th, 1944, in Selma AL to the parents of Lillie and Joseph Oliver. Maggie departed this world and joined her Heavenly Father on March 20th, 2024.

She graduated from Brantley High Shool in Selma AL and relocated to Oakland CA in 1969, marrying Eddie Parker in May of that same year. Helen worked for the Oakland Unified School District.

Maggie gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robinson.

Helen - a devoted mother and grandmother, enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, and will be truly missed.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her family. Husband Eddie Parker, children Renee Haynes (Edward Haynes) of Oakland CA and Maronica McCoy (Joseph McCoy) of Killeen TX. Grandchildren Latrice, Edward, Shavonna Makala, Derrick, and Stormy, as well as great grandchildren Nariyah, Kali, Nala, Devon, and CJ. She also left behind her dearly beloved sister Lillie Riggins and brother Joseph Oliver. Maggie was proceeded in death by her sons' Errick Parker and Reginald Oliver and grandson Maurice Price, and a host of friends and family.
