Lydia Lorraine Stucky was born on June 1, 1919 to Emett and Minnie McBride in Montana. She passed away on May 9, 2018 in San Lorenzo at the age of 98.

Lydia is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William G. Stucky, and her son, David. She is survived by her children: Susan, Roger, and Bryan; and her grandchildren: Spencer, Fletcher, Katlin, and Jack.

Being born in the Treasure State, Lydia also ended up attending Montana State University where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma sorority. Aside from living in Montana, Lydia was also a resident of Ames, Iowa, and a member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization sisterhood. For 40 years Lydia worked as a registered nurse. Many things in life brought her joy such as her family, travel, eating out, and March Madness as she was an avid basketball fan.
