Luz entered peacefully into rest on March 23, 2022. She was 52 years old.

Born in Mexico on August 14, 1969 to Protacio Hernandez and Isabela Garcia. She was a homemaker and was known for collecting souvenirs. She is survived by her loving husband Epitacio Maciel, her chilidren Isela, Lissa, and Hugo , a grandchild Penelope and many siblings Juanita, Yolanda, Luis, Chon, and Berto in addition to many family and friends that will miss her dearly. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary.
