Louis Allen Gaines entered peacefully into rest at home in Hayward, California on January 15, 2020. He was 51 years old.

Born August 6, 1968 in Oakland, California to parents Allen Louis and Vernestene Gaines, Louis graduated from Mt. Eden High School. He worked as a forklift driver for over 10 years and enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Most of all he loved partying with his family.

Louis is survived by his father Allen and siblings Juanita and Lillian Johnson, and Maxine and Kimberly Gaines. He was preceded in death by his mother Vernestene and Darlene Gardner. 

Visitation for Louis will be held from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, California, with services to begin at 12:00 PM, also at Grissom's.
