Lester “Casey” Leroy Johns, of Fremont, California, died July 3, 2018 at home with his wife Loreta by his side. He was born December 12, 1934 in Wellington, Ohio to parents Homer and Hester Johns.

Lester honorably served in the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant for 22 years until his retirement. He was an active member of the American Legion and AmVets. He enjoyed moto-cross and traveling around the world.

Lester is survived by his wife of 38 years, Loreta Q. Johns; children Lloyd (Kathy) and Larry (Kim) Johns, nieces Kimberly Alejandro and Daniella Punzalan Pamplona. Lester was preceded in death by his brother, Mick Johns and sister, Laura Shoewe.

Visitation for Lester will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4-8 PM, with services at 6 PM, at Grissom’s
Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo, CA.
