Kelli Renee Lucas of San Ramon, California, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15th, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family after fighting a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband Don Couch, her two stepdaughters, Emily and Makenna, her mother and father John and Cindy McKim, her sister Erin Dessureau-O'Hara, her Goddaughter Mariah Dessureau-O'Hara and her niece Angelia Dessureau-O'Hara. 
Kelli Renee Lucas was born on Tuesday, March 30, 1976 to Cindy McKim. Kelli also known as "Litle Ms" grew up in Fairfield, California where her loving parents John and Cindy watched her grow and flourish. Kelli went to Amy Blanco Elementary School and graduated from Fairfield High School. As a child, Kelli found her passion as a dancer. This passion led her to work as a ballerina for the Colorado Ballet Company. She later went on to be a Go Go dancer for various clubs. Kelli spent 8 years working as a 911 dispatcher for the Alameda County Sheriffs Department. Kelli loved her job and the many friendships she made there, including having met the love of her life and husband, Don Couch. They married on August 8th, 2017. With this union Kelli was blessed to have been able to help raise her two stepdaughters Emily and Makenna. Kelli's favorite things to do when she wasn't working were dancing, walking her babies Cookie and Buster, cooking, looming, building puzzles and she had recently picked up painting. Kelli was also exceptionally proud of having recently become a Godmother to Mariah and was a proud auntie to her niece Angelia. 
Services are being handled by Grissom’s Cremation & Burial Centers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 3rd, 2018 from 2-3:30pm at CrossWinds Church, 1660 Freisman Road, Livermore, CA 94551.
