Juanita Josefina Aragon passed away peacefully on 11/18/25 at the age of 97. She was born in Santa Rosa, New Mexico and grew up in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. She married Leopold M. Aragon on January 28, 1946 in Tucumcari, NM. and soon after they moved to California in search of job opportunities and settled in San Leandro. They enjoyed 32 years of marriage and had four children, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteer work at the Marina Community Center in San Leandro. She was in charge of the popcorn and beverages for the movies. She also did setting up and ticket taking at the senior dances.

Juanita lived in the same house in San Leandro for 69 years. As parents, she and Leo taught their kids the importance friends, family and working hard. She was always out visiting friends. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.

Dec.10th 5:00 pm rosary at Grissom’s Mortuary San Lorenzo. Dec.11th 10:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Felicitas Church San Leandro. Dec. 12th 11:00 am Gravesite Services at Lower Lake Cemetery.
