Jose Rodriguez-Valencia originally from San Luciano, Mexico  transitoned peacefully in Oakland, CA the morning of March 17, 2022. He was 64 years old. 

Born on July 23, 1957 to Crispin Rodriguez and Francisca Rodriguez. Jose was a Machine Operator for Cemex. He will be remembered by being a jokester but most importantly his best achievement of becoming a US citizen.

Jose loved  fishing, being a great machinist, riding his bike, going for walks and telling jokes. He is survived by his devoted wife of 10 years Leticia Jimenez , his chilidren Rocio, Rogelio, Luis, Remberto, Carmen, and Lorena, his grandchildiren Krystal, Roger, Irene, Daisy, Armando, Joseph, Xavier, Jacqueline, Pricilla Bianca, Giselle, Daniel Jr,, Jayden, and Isaac, 1 great grandchild Messiah, his siblings Consuelo, Gustavo, Ramiro, Fernando, Gabino, Cristin, Isabel and many more family and friends that will miss him dearly. 

Visitation and Vigil will be held March 22, 2022 from 2-7pm. Services will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at St. Louis Bertrand Church in Hayward at 10am.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary.
