Jose Jesus Tovar Jr. passed away unexpectedly at home in San Lorenzo, California on February 20, 2020. He was 18 years old. 

Jose was born May 14, 2001 in Castro Valley, California to parents Felipa and Jose Tovar. He is survived by many loving family members and friends.

Visitation for Jose will be held from 3:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA, with a Vigil to begin at 6:30 PM. Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at St. John's Catholic Church, 264 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA. Jose will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
